AgileEngine is building a strategic talent pool for senior Shopify Engineer roles in a remote-first environment in Braga, Portugal. The role focuses on architecting and delivering high‑performance eCommerce solutions for Fortune 500 brands and innovative businesses.
You will work with senior engineers to drive code quality, platform architecture, and roadmap alignment while providing Shopify Plus technical support and participating in reviews and security initiatives.
Qualificações
- 4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC and modern development methodologies.
- Proven experience with page performance optimisation, front-end caching, CDNs, and secure development practices.
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve site issues using tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsabilidades
- Develop key system components and reusable modules for Shopify-based solutions.
- Perform deep code analysis, implement patches and new features.
- Collaborate with Product Management on design and roadmap.
- Provide Shopify technical support and conduct code reviews.
- Maintain security and performance best practices across the platform.
