AgileEngine is seeking an experienced Shopify professional to lead our e-commerce practice. You will guide teams through implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre-sales calls to turn Shopify into a growth engine in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities include architecting stores, driving scalable solutions, and aligning technical roadmaps with client business goals. Strong leadership, English proficiency, and delivery of large-scale Shopify projects are essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce
• Expertise in Shopify Plus, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
• Proven track record delivering large-scale Shopify solutions
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders
• Experience supporting sales conversations, scoping projects, and growth opportunities
• Strong communication, organisation, and remote collaboration skills
• High proficiency in English
• Availability for consulting, leadership, and part-time project involvement as needed

Responsabilidades

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, applications, and custom integrations end-to-end
• Drive scalable and secure solutions, establish coding standards, and create proofs of concept
• Lead small-scale or prototype engagements, establish best practices, scope work, mentor developers
• Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of clients, translate goals into roadmaps
• Provide strategic guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, SEO, and performance
• Participate in discovery calls with sales teams, scope projects, identify upsell opportunities
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align solutions with business goals
• Ensure designs, themes, and apps meet performance and CRO best practices
• Stay current with Shopify updates, headless frameworks, and third-party integrations
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to the e-commerce roadmap
