AgileEngine is building a strategic talent pool for several high-priority Shopify Plus projects launching soon. You will architect, develop, and maintain high-performance ecommerce solutions, collaborating with senior engineers in a remote-first environment.

You will drive platform architecture, code reviews, and engineering excellence while supporting Shopify Plus and related systems. The role emphasizes understanding the why behind the platform, not just coding, with opportunities to influence

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development methodologies.
• Experience with page performance optimization, CDNs, and secure development practices.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop key system components and optimize delivery times.
• Analyze code, develop patches, and implement new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Management on system design, capabilities, and innovative solutions.
• Provide first-level Shopify technical support, troubleshoot critical issues, and conduct incident postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation.
• Work with the broader development team to ensure best practices in security and performance.
• Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks.
