Nimber in Portugal is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead a team responsible for a complete mobile payments solution. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach the team in Agile practices in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Lisbon or Porto with hybrid work, you will coordinate with international stakeholders, ensure delivery, and promote continuous improvement while aligning with security and compliance needs. Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Agile certification preferred (CSM/PSM).
• 5+ years as Scrum Master in software development, with payments/fintech experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices in complex environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary

We are seeking for a Senior Scrum Master for a team responsible for acomplete mobile solution for Android/IOS with intention to enforce security of your online payments by a process of Authentication.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that all team members are engaged and productive;
• Team Support: Remove impediments, creating conditions for the team to become more effective;
• Coaching and Mentoring: Guide team members in Agile principles and practices, promoting self-organization and accountability within the team;
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the IT team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and requirements in both French and English;
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on team performance metrics, helping to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity;
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine Agile processes to align with best practices, adapting them to meet the team's unique needs;
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions to ensure a harmonious team environment, addressing any issues that may hinder team performance;
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation related to Agile processes, sprint goals, and team progress, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing Agile teams in the software development field, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, with hands-on experience applying them in complex environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members effectively.
• Experience working in an international environment and ability to manage virtual teams across different time zones.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a focus on team success.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello) is a plus.
