Nimber is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join the Transformation Team. The consultant will guide teams through a complex environment, leveraging Agile to foster collaboration, productivity, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Role involves working with teams in Paris and Porto, acting as a servant leader, removing impediments, and ensuring alignment with project goals while promoting self-organization and accountability.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar in software development, preferably payments/fintech.
• Strong facilitation and mentoring skills with ability to influence across levels.
• Experience working in international teams across time zones and offices.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) across teams.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and help them improve productivity.
• Act as servant leader; remove impediments and foster trust.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a well-prioritized backlog aligned with goals.
• Monitor team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters across locations to share best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join Transformation Team.In this role, the consultant will be instrumental in guiding the teams through a complex environment. The consultant will leverage your expertise in Agile methodologies to foster collaboration, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement across the team.
As a Senior Scrum Master, the consultant will work in an international environment, collaborating with team members based in both Paris and Porto. Your leadership will empower the teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to Agile principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Plannings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement among team members.
• Coach the team on Agile methodologies, helping them to understand and implement best practices to optimize their workflows and enhance productivity.
• Act as a servant leader, removing impediments that may hinder the team's progress and fostering an environment of trust and open communication.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog that meets business needs and aligns with project goals.
• Monitor and report on team performance metrics, facilitating discussions around improvements and adjustments to enhance team efficiency.
• Work with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to align project goals and share best practices across teams in different locations.
• Support the team in defining and achieving their goals while encouraging self-organization and accountability.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines or deliverables, and proactively communicate these to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and learning within the team.
• Keep your team leader updated on the updates of the projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing Agile teams in the software development field, preferably within the payments or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, with hands-on experience applying them in complex environments.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members effectively.
• Experience working in an international environment and ability to manage virtual teams across different time zones.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a focus on team success.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello) is a plus.
• Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory);
• Availability to come to the office 2 days per week (flexible);
• Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, if required.
