Nimber is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer in Lisbon or Porto (hybrid) to design, deploy and manage containerized environments with a focus on Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC, observability, and security through DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities include building OpenShift clusters, implementing IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and mentoring teammates in a collaborative Agile setting.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of DevOps experience with containerized environments.
• Advanced knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes including security, operators, and routing.
• Strong Terraform and Ansible experience.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, ArgoCD).
• Strong Linux, networking, and IT security knowledge.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-prem and cloud.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
• Implement IaC with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Assist development teams with onboarding and promote Cloud-Native practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Integrate security into CI/CD with vulnerability scanning, secrets, RBAC, and network policies.
• Troubleshoot platform issues ensuring high availability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and evaluate new tech.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.

Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Lisbon or Oporto / Hybrid

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes to design, administer, automate, and optimize containerized environments. The role involves managing CI/CD and GitOps pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code, supporting development teams with application onboarding, and ensuring platform performance, observability, and security through DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, administer, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, and ArgoCD.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
• Support development teams with application onboarding and promote Cloud-Native best practices.
• Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, RBAC, and network policies.
• Troubleshoot platform and infrastructure issues and ensure high availability and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies and architectures.
• Promote knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, with strong experience in containerized environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including administration, security, operators, and routing.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with ArgoCD, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and IT security.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures is valued.
• Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications such as EX280, EX288, CKA, or CKAD are a plus.
• Fluent/native French is required.
• Strong communication, autonomy, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Comfortable working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
