Job summary

Decision in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to establish agile practices across distributed teams. You will guide ceremonies, mentor teams, and support backlog management to ensure effective delivery in a hybrid work setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of proven Scrum Master experience, with strong facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and experience with Jira/Azure DevOps. Fluency in English mandatory; automotive tech sector exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and ability to apply them flexibly in hybrid or non-product environments.
Proven experience guiding mixed or distributed teams through agile adoption.
Ability to connect and align priorities between business stakeholders, IT, and Tech teams.

Responsibilities

Establish agile practices and provide guidance to teams with limited Scrum experience.
Facilitate and adapt agile ceremonies to project- and domain-oriented structures.
Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, mindset, and collaboration.
Support backlog management, prioritization, and scope alignment even in non-product setups.
Identify and remove impediments, including organizational or communication barriers between teams.
Create visibility on progress, risks, and performance using agile metrics and dashboards.
Promote alignment, transparency, and trust across distributed teams.
Encourage a culture of reflection, learning, and continuous improvement.
