Job summary

GRiT Solutions is building an international tech hub in Lisbon and seeks a seasoned Salesforce developer specialising in Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. You will own end-to-end design, implementation and unit testing of Salesforce solutions with a strong emphasis on data ingestion, modeling and secure access.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Salesforce development, hands-on data integration experience with S3/BigQuery, and proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy and email design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Salesforce development (Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud).
• Degree in CS/IT or comparable qualification.
• Experience in data modeling and ingestion workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Salesforce solution design, implementation and unit testing.

Job Description

You’ll join an international team as part of a new Tech Hub emerging from Lisbon, taking end-to-end ownership of designing, implementing and unit testing Salesforce solutions, with a strong focus on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.

Must-Have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, specifically in Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
• Proficient in Data Modeling, including Data Streams, Data Lake Objects, Data Model Objects, Unified Individual, and Identity Resolution frameworks
• Hands-on work with data ingestion, including batch, streaming and API-based ingestion, external connectors such as S3 and Google BigQuery, and token management and authentication flows
• Skilled in data transformation, including Data Mapping, Calculated Insights, Transformation Rules, SQL-based Query Editor, schema alignment, and standardization and enrichment logic
• Strong knowledge of identity resolution, including match rule configuration, reconciliation rules, identity stitching, cross-source identity linking, and deterministic and probabilistic approaches
• Familiarity with GDPR and CCPA compliance and consent management
• Comfortable with secure data access, PII protection, and integration architecture involving real-time triggers and event patterns
• Proficient in AMPscript, SSJS and WSProxy for dynamic emails, landing pages, SOAP handling and advanced SQL
• Capable in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with the ability to optimise emails for responsive display and dark mode
• Practical expertise in Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Mobile Studio
• Solid grasp of advanced automation orchestration, error handling and performance optimisation
• Fluent English

Would Be Great If You Have

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and II, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect
