Jobgether is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own end-to-end quality for critical payment flows and help shape automation strategies in a remote setup. The role focuses on API-first testing across REST, JSON, and complex transaction lifecycles, with Playwright and RestAssured as core tools.

Collaboration with backend engineers and product teams is essential to establish acceptance criteria and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA engineering with ownership of complex systems.
• Hands-on testing of REST APIs (HTTP, JSON) and workflows.
• Experience with Playwright or RestAssured for automation.
• CI/CD experience and integrating quality checks into delivery.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys.
• Design and execute API-first test strategies for REST/JSON.
• Build and maintain automated API and UI tests.
• Investigate production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to release quality gates and CI/CD validation.
• Improve testability and acceptance criteria with backend teams.
