Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer within the Quality Engineering function. You will be embedded in a mission team to champion end-to-end quality across payments, onboarding, and banking features, shaping testing strategy and driving automation efforts.

You will lead automation design for API/UI/Mobile, champion a shift-left mindset with product and development teams, and use data-driven insights to target high-risk areas while aligning with CI/CD practices and fintech

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA Automation/SDET roles with proven success leading quality within an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the comprehensive testing strategy for your domain, ensuring end-to-end quality in partnership with QA Team Lead.
• Act as the primary contributor for automation; design, develop, and maintain robust automated tests (API, UI, Mobile).
• Champion a Shift-Left mindset, collaborating with Product Owners and Developers from refinement to ensure quality from the start.
• Directly manage the mission team’s automation targets and use data-driven insights to predict high-risk areas.
• Identify team gaps and collaborate to develop custom helpers or data generators for the core framework.
• Ensure automated test suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployment.
