Job summary

Fyld is looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to build robust, scalable backend solutions using Django, Flask or FastAPI and to design RESTful services for relational databases.

You will join a collaborative team in Lisbon, embracing clean code, testing, and CI/CD practices while improving production performance and security. English fluency and Agile collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years professional Python experience.
• Strong Python 3.x and object-oriented programming.
• Backend applications and services experience.
• Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with SQL and ORM technologies.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, clean code, and best practices.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
• Understanding of backend security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production applications.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Fluency in English.
