Fyld is hiring a Python Backend Developer to build robust, scalable backend services in Porto, Portugal. You will work with a modern stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable APIs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Python experience, hands-on with Django/Flask/FastAPI, relational databases, REST APIs, testing, and CI/CD. Fluency in English is required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing backend applications and services.
• Experience with Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Experience with SQL and ORM technologies.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external systems.
• Understanding of software architecture, clean code and development best practices.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
• Understanding of backend security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production applications.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Fluency in English.
