Multivision - Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Python Developer to design and build backend services powering our platform. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite in Lisbon.

You will design, implement, and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs in Python, work with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and help optimise data models and performance.

The team collaborates across functions, participates in CI/CD, and writes automated tests to ensure robust, scalable systems. Professional English is required.

Qualificações

• 3+ years building production applications in Python.
• Experience with at least one major framework: Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Solid SQL experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Responsabilidades

You’ll work in a cross-functional team

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs in Python
• Model and optimise relational data
• Write automated tests and keep the codebase covered and maintainable
• Integrate third-party services, internal systems, and message queues
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Profile and optimise performance bottlenecks in application and database layers

Requirements:

• 3+ years building production applications in Python 3
• Strong experience with at least one major framework: Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Solid SQL and relational database experience (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• REST API design and implementation
• Automated testing with pytest (or unit test) and a test-first or test-alongside habit
• Git and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code review)
• Understanding of asynchronous programming (asyncio) or background task processing (Celery, RQ)
• Comfortable on Linux and the command line
• Professional working English
