Job summary

KCS IT is seeking an Amazing Python Developer with 5+ years of experience in backend development to join our hybrid team in Porto. The role focuses on Python-based systems, RESTful services, and microservices in a collaborative environment.

You will work with FastAPI or Django, apply design patterns, and contribute to cloud-enabled solutions while maintaining best practices and CI/CD standards. Fluency in English is mandatory, and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with Python.
• Experience with FASTAPI, Django, or similars.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Comfortable working with SQL and No-SQL Databases.
• Basic knowledge of the Linux command line.
• Experience with Clouds, Rest API’s and Microservices Architectures.
• DevOps mindset (CI/CD knowledge) and experience with tests.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and experience working in collaborative development environments.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
