Axians, a VINCI Energies brand focused on IT and digital transformation, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Global Markets. The role demands leadership across Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Tax, and Technology to deliver high-impact initiatives in a fast-moving investment banking environment.

You will lead cross-functional projects with European and global scope, define governance, manage risks, and report to executives.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects within Global Markets, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Fluent English required; French is a strong advantage.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER IN GLOBAL MARKETS

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a experienced Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within a Global Markets environment. This role goes far beyond traditional project management, requiring strong leadership, business acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive transformation across multiple business functions. You will be responsible for delivering high-impact projects across the Front-to-Finance value chain, aligning diverse stakeholders, challenging experts when needed, and ensuring successful execution in a complex and fast-moving investment banking environment.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic cross-functional projects with European and global scope.
• Define project governance, objectives, deliverables, success metrics, and execution plans in partnership with sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple business and support functions, ensuring alignment and resolving dependencies, conflicts, and bottlenecks.
• Challenge existing processes, technical solutions, and organizational approaches to identify improvements and enhance efficiency.
• Manage project timelines, risks, issues, deliverable quality, and stakeholder communication with complete transparency.
• Produce executive-level reporting, presentations, and steering committee materials using clear and impactful storytelling.
• Drive initiatives related to business development, regulatory changes, operational transformation, workflow optimization, and risk reduction.
• Facilitate collaboration between Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Tax, and Technology teams.
• Act as the key driver of project success, ensuring stakeholder engagement, buy-in, and delivery excellence.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting quickly to evolving business priorities and regulatory requirements.

Your Main Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional projects within Global Markets, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk, and related business areas.
• Experience coordinating projects involving 10 or more business and support functions.
• Proven ability to manage project governance, planning, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Experience leading operational transformation, process optimisation, regulatory, or business development initiatives.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• French is considered a strong advantage.
