Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Product Analyst based in Portugal to drive data-informed product decisions. You will own the product metrics framework, ensure consistent definitions, and partner with Product leaders to translate insights into strategic actions.

The role combines advanced analytics, experimentation, and research to uncover opportunities and guide prioritization. It emphasizes data quality, trustworthy insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and probability for business and product questions.
• Experience extracting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data using SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Hands-on experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests and controlled experiments.
• Strong understanding of marketing and product metrics and their application to growth.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product metrics tree with clearly documented definitions across teams.
• Validate metrics and dashboards; write specifications for Data Engineering and ensure correct implementation.
• Decompose north-star metrics into measurable components that teams can influence.
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations into metric fluctuations, anomalies, and segmentation issues.
• Identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities through structured data mining and analysis.
• Validate hypotheses with Product teams and prioritize problems by impact on key metrics.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests including sample-size, MDES, duration, and randomization.
