Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Staff Data Analyst based in Portugal. You will own analytics across a global travel marketplace, shaping how product, engineering and commercial teams use data to drive decisions and growth.

You will build dbt models and data pipelines, standardize metrics, and partner with senior leaders to translate questions into data-driven insights. This role offers autonomy in a fast-moving, international environment and opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Extensive experience owning complex analytical initiatives.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to shape decisions.
• Hands-on analytics engineering with dbt models and pipelines.
• Ability to turn fragmented data into reliable data products.
• Strong understanding of product analytics and user behavior.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics across the customer-facing business including API usage, bookings, and commercial outcomes.
• Partner with senior Product, Engineering, and commercial leaders to define analytical priorities.
• Build, validate, and maintain dbt models, data pipelines, and analytical products.
• Establish standardized metrics and reporting frameworks to resolve dashboard discrepancies.
• Analyze customer journeys, API usage, and booking behavior to identify friction and opportunities.
• Develop product analytics capabilities and experimentation frameworks.
• Investigate marketplace data across products and systems to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Take analytical initiatives from discovery to adoption with measurable value.
• Use AI coding agents to accelerate development while maintaining data quality.
• Operate independently in evolving environments with limited oversight.
• Help shape analytics practices and data standards as the team grows.
