Job summary

bridge351 seeks an experienced Oracle DBA to optimize database performance on ExaCC with a focus on CPU efficiency, compression and storage cost reduction. You will guide teams through best practices and lead critical migrations including Kerberos authentication and Oracle Client upgrades.

You will collaborate with infra, development and project stakeholders, ensuring robust performance, security and scalable design across multi‑platform environments including Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or comparable technical field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on Oracle DB experience in production environments.
• Proven expertise in performance tuning, compression and resource optimization.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Oracle database performance via compression, tuning and indexing for ExaCC efficiency.
• Fine‑tune CPU allocation on ExaCC to maximize used/allocated ratio and minimize waste.
• Optimize backup and recovery for Oracle ZFS and ZDLRA for reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
