Euro Staffs in Lisboa, Portugal seeks a Senior Database Administrator specialized in Oracle (ExaCC/Exadata) to join our on-site team. You will optimize performance, manage advanced replication and backups, and lead client upgrades in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of hands-on Oracle production experience, strong tuning skills, and proficiency with ExaCC, ZFS, ZDLRA, and audit/compliance controls.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize Oracle database performance through compression, query tuning and indexing strategy.
• Fine-tune Oracle CPU allocation on ExaCC to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Optimize backup and recovery with ZFS and ZDLRA appliances for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead migration projects including Kerberos authentication and Oracle Client upgrades.
• Guide development teams on best practices for database design, SQL coding, performance and scalability.
• Perform root cause analysis on performance incidents and complex database issues.
