Job summary

Decskill, part of the Astek Group, is growing and seeking a .NET Tech Lead for a project with a hybrid working model. You will provide technical leadership, drive architecture and implementation decisions, and support the Azure cloud transition while upholding Clean Code, SOLID and TDD practices.

You will mentor developers and collaborate with Product, QA, Architects, DBAs and teams in Paris. We offer long-term opportunities in an international context, with teams in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid,

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience with C#/.NET development.
• Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
• Strong experience with .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+.
• Solid knowledge of Software Architecture, Clean Code, SOLID and TDD.
• Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL, Git, Gitflow and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Pipelines, Repos, Blob Storage, App Service and App Configuration.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of the full application lifecycle, including production support.
• Previous banking, payments or fintech experience is a strong plus.
• Portuguese: B2 minimum – nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development.
• Drive architecture, design and implementation decisions.
• Support the Azure cloud transition and application lifecycle evolution.
• Promote engineering best practices including Clean Code, SOLID, TDD, automation, scalability and reliability.
• Lead technical reviews and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Identify and manage technical debt and risks.
• Mentor developers and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Architects, DBAs and teams in Paris.
• Play a key role in Collect.Online data migration.
• Help prepare applications for future support and decommissioning stages.
