Job summary

Match Profiler is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the internal development team in Portugal. The role focuses on evolving digital platforms and business support systems using microservices on Azure, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a Scrum environment.

You will design, develop, and maintain REST APIs with C#/.NET, contribute to architecture decisions, and drive CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps while mentoring junior developers. Hybrid work in Lisbon is available.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with C# / .NET in real projects.
Experience with .NET 8 or higher; familiarity with .NET 10 is a plus.
Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core Web API and EF Core.
Experience in microservices and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on Azure experience (Service Bus, Functions, App Service, Monitoring).
CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Git.
Ability to write unit/integration tests and perform code reviews.
Experience in Scrum teams and delivering in sprints.
Nice to have: React, Docker, AKS, Azure Container Apps; health/insurance or banking sector familiarity.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs in C# / .NET 10.
Contribute to architecture decisions with the Tech Lead (DDD, Clean Architecture, CQRS).
Implement asynchronous communication with Azure Service Bus.
Develop and publish services in Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault).
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
Ensure quality via unit/integration tests and code reviews.
Collaborate with frontend and product teams in Scrum.
Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced developers.
