Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior software engineer to join our team in Portugal. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, translating complex regulatory and financial workflows into robust data and scripts while delivering high-performing solutions.

Work with cross-functional Agile teams, focus on Murex regulatory IT, and communicate in English within an international environment. Hybrid work model and strong growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Murex (Datamart, MSL, Exchange MXML), Shell Scripting, SQL (Oracle)/PL SQL, XSLT/XML/HTML, SOAP, Python, and GIT.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) essential for international teamwork.

What will you do?

• Execute the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirement understanding and technical scoping to code implementation and high-fidelity solution delivery.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements and financial workflows into robust, optimized data and script structures, ensuring high application stability.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams, actively contributing to prioritized roadmap topics and ensuring successful implementation of application features.
• Apply critical analysis to complex database and integration challenges, particularly for Murex software platforms (Datamart, MSL, Exchange MXML) and automated processing.
