Aubay Portugal is seeking a C developer to join our team working with major organisations across banking, insurance and more. You will develop C webservices, design SQL changes, and contribute to a DevOps-friendly, Agile environment from a remote-friendly setup.

What will you do?

• Develop and modify C webservices, including creating new functionalities for internal applications.
• Design and implement SQL modifications, encompassing stored procedures, table structures, and database data.
• Execute thorough unit tests to guarantee the robustness and quality of the developed code.
• Conduct detailed analysis and resolution of production bugs within a Generali Service Centre context.
• Actively participate in an Agile Scrum/DevOps environment, contributing to continuous integration and deployment processes.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in C development, preferably in pure C environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries across multiple tables.
• Solid understanding and practical application of standard C libraries (e.g., stdlib.h, string.h) and core concepts like pointer and memory management, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio Code and Git, or a strong aptitude to quickly adapt and learn new tools.
• Mandatory fluency in both French and English for effective communication within the project team and client environment.
• Candidates with a C++ background are welcome, provided they have strong C and SQL skills, motivation for pure C development, and ideally some knowledge of Java and Python.
