Job summary

Wire IT is seeking a Murex Developer in a hybrid role based in Lisbon, Portugal. The candidate will work in a senior, cross-functional team on Murex Datamart, MSL, and Exchange MXML, with strong SQL/PLSQL, Python, and shell scripting skills.

You will contribute to agile projects, report progress, and focus on code quality, testing automation, and continual improvement of development processes and tools. Wire IT offers a supportive team culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development and coding.
• Hands-on experience with Murex, particularly Datamart, MSL, and Exchange MXML.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, preferably with Oracle databases.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of XSLT, XSL, XML, and HTML.
• Experience with SOAP web services.
• Programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Ability to perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on applications.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to report progress and share technical knowledge.
• Focus on code quality, testing automation, and continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
