Lufthansa Group Business Services in Portugal is seeking a Senior Manager Human Resources to shape people strategy across Western Europe. You will lead a cross-country HR team, advise on compensation, benefits, and recruiting services, and partner with business leaders to drive organizational change.

You will leverage your 5+ years of management experience in complex, virtual HR environments, demonstrate intercultural awareness, and ensure compliance with Labour Law and industrial relations.

• Be the Go-To Expert: Serve as the main contact for business partners on HR Services & Process Excellence
• Oversee Partners: Manage service providers (e.g., Payroll, Global Mobility, Legal)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For?

• Master’s degree (or equivalent), or Bachelor’s degree plus vocational aeronautical training ("LVK")
• 5+ years’ management experience in a complex, cross-functional, virtual HR environment
• Or: Vocational training (3 years) plus additional HR qualification (1–2 years) and 7–8+ years’ professional HR experience
• Outstanding English communication skills, written and verbal
• Exceptional diplomacy, negotiation, and effective communication abilities
• Intercultural awareness; comfortable in diverse, international teams
• Strong analytical mindset and creative problem-solving skills
• Thinking and acting as part of the LH Group and the various BO communities
• Expertise in Collective and Works Agreements highly valued
• Solid background in Labour Law and Industrial Relations preferred
• Familiarity with SAP HR and MS Office
• Project management skillsBasic Psychology and Human Resource Management is appreciate.
