Job summary

Capgemini Engineering seeks a Senior Java Tech Lead to steer the technical design and delivery of enterprise applications supporting the pharmaceutical regulatory ecosystem in Portugal. You will define architecture, drive technical excellence, and guide development teams to build secure, scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java technologies.
• Proven experience in technical leadership and software architecture design.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of software security, performance optimization, and scalability principles.
• Experience conducting code reviews and promoting development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Office Location: Lisbon - Hybrid, 2 times per week in the office.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
