Rumos Portugal seeks an experienced software professional to lead Java-based development across large-scale microservices and IAM initiatives. You will help shape architectures, guidelines, and best practices while coordinating with international teams. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years in software development.
• Strong Java and microservices experience.
• Knowledge of React.
• Experience defining architectures and development standards.
• Advanced knowledge of IAM—Keycloak, Okta, OIDC, RBAC.
• Experience in authentication/identity architectures.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging.
• Address performance, scalability and security issues.
• Lead code reviews and implement quality standards.
• Knowledge of SonarQube and Snyk.
• Prepare ADRs and runbooks.
• Mentor team members.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Independent, responsible, and decisive.
• Able to work in a demanding, international environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• At least 8 years of professional experience in software development;
• Solid experience in Java development and microservices implementation;
• Knowledge of React;
• Experience in defining software architectures and development standards;
• Advanced knowledge of IAM solutions, specifically Keycloak, Okta, OIDC, and RBAC;
• Experience in defining and implementing authentication and identity management architectures;
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging technologies;
• Experience in identifying and resolving performance, scalability, and security issues;
• Experience leading code reviews and implementing quality standards;
• Knowledge of SonarQube and Snyk;
• Experience preparing technical documentation, specifically ADRs and runbooks;
• Ability to lead, guide, and mentor team members;
• Fluency in English;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with technical and functional stakeholders;
• Independence, a sense of responsibility, and decision-making ability;
• Ability to work in a demanding, dynamic, and international environment.
