Powerdot, Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our Porto, Portugal team. You will design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, leverage AWS for production-grade operations, and work with both relational and non-relational databases.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers are key aspects of the role. We value problem-solving, strong communication, and a passion for accelerating sustainable mobility.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and deploying production-grade microservices.
• Hands-on with AWS services in production.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend services with business needs.
• Design and develop microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) for scalable operations.
• Create and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
• Work with RabbitMQ and Kafka for asynchronous messaging.
• Maintain code quality and mentor junior engineers.
