act digital in Portugal is seeking Senior Java Backend Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team building scalable, cloud-native microservices.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, observability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor others, and help shape the technical direction of the products you build.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong experience with modern Java versions (Java 17/21).
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in architecture and solution design discussions.
• Take ownership of code from development through deployment and maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Drive engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Challenge business requirements to ensure the best possible technical solutions.
• Mentor and support other engineers through knowledge sharing and technical leadership.
