Powerdot in Porto, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable microservices for our EV charging platform. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern data stores to support rapid growth across Europe.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering standards around reliability, security, and performance while shaping the technical backbone of our network.

Qualificações

• Experience designing, building, and deploying production-grade microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) in production.
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for async messaging.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in dev/prod workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• EV charging domain experience is a plus.
