Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to take technical ownership of Java-based application development and shape the architecture of logistics solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive the full software lifecycle from concept to production, enhancing systems with modern tools and agile practices.

Ideal candidates have strong Java expertise (Spring Boot, JPA, JUnit, Mockito), hands-on experience, and be comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience in software architecture and Java development.
• Proficient with Maven, Jenkins, Git; knowledge of IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, OpenShift or AWS is a plus.
• Familiar with agile ways of working and proactive in improving processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems.
• Excellent English communication skills and collaborative mindset.
