Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and support the technology infrastructure powering its global systems. You will participate in full software development lifecycle, backend development, writing clean code, testing, and deployment.

You will work with AWS, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Postgres in a collaborative, Agile environment, ensuring scalable, reliable software. Fluent English required; flexible working arrangements offered.

Qualifications

4+ years of agile software development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Postgres.
Knowledge of CI/CD and clean code practices.
Experience with AWS and Terraform is a plus.
Familiar with Agile teamwork and open communication and pair programming.
Willingness to develop yourself and the team.
Agile and problem-solving mindset.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Design and propose innovative solutions based on requirements.
Own production applications and monitor them in production.
Maintain clean code practices.
Improve setups and processes following agile principles.
Ensure QA through automated tests and code reviews.
Provide 3rd line support during office hours.
Support maintaining product documentation.
Collaborate daily with the team.
