Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (m/f/d) to take technical ownership of Java-based application development and shape the architecture of logistics solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams across the software lifecycle, driving continuous improvement with modern tools and frameworks.

Ideal candidates have strong Java expertise, hands-on experience with Spring Boot, JPA, JUnit, Mockito, and familiarity with Docker/OpenShift/AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar.
• Strong experience in software architecture and Java development.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of Java-based application development.
• Design and evolve service-oriented architectures for logistics solutions.
• Drive the full development lifecycle from ideation to production integration.
• Collaborate with product owners and domain experts to align technical solutions with business needs.
