Job summary

KLx, the Portuguese subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A., is seeking a Senior IT Operations Engineer to ensure the operability of Open Systems environments and production platforms. You will combine hands-on production work with technical coordination across teams.

You will manage production operations, scheduling with Control-M, automation, cloud and on‑prem deployments (AWS, GCP), and contribute to continuous improvement in an Agile/ITIL setting. French and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Operations, Production Support or Application Support environments.
• Solid knowledge of Linux administration and production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Apache or JBoss.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, CloudWatch or similar.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile and ITIL environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in French and a good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations & Support: ensure stability, availability and performance of critical banking applications; provide Level 2 support and incident resolution; maintain operational documentation; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Scheduling, Monitoring & Automation: manage batch scheduling with Control-M; monitor workflows; automate processes; support monitoring and observability; manage Linux/Windows environments and production deployments.
• Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement: act as a technical reference; share knowledge; coordinate activities with teams; drive automation and reliability initiatives.
