Job summary

Quanteam, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET & Angular) for a retail technology project in Lisbon. The role is roughly 80% backend, with architectural input, mentoring colleagues, and hands-on development in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Angular.

You will maintain and evolve legacy apps, design efficient database structures, develop backend services and microservices, and participate in Agile ceremonies using Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and Windows Forms.
• Experience with Angular and frontend tasks as needed.
• Proven experience with microservices and backend services.
• Hands-on SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Proven mentoring or informal technical leadership experience.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portuguese fluency and English at least B2 level.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET & Angular)

Join a retail technology project focused on the core software behind point-of-sale (POS) systems. This role is approximately 80% backend, combining development in established .NET technologies with architectural decisions and technical guidance.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance core POS applications using C#, .NET Framework, and Windows Forms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the evolution of existing applications.
• Provide technical guidance, support colleagues, and contribute to code reviews and development best practices.
• Design and optimize SQL Server queries and database structures to improve performance and reliability.

• Advanced SQL Server skills, including query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Experience contributing to software architecture or technical design decisions.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring developers, including informal technical leadership.
• Experience developing and integrating microservices.
• Familiarity with Angular and willingness to contribute to frontend tasks.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for development and project management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with retail or POS systems would be an advantage.
• Fluency in Portuguese and a minimum B2 level of English.
• Availability for a hybrid position in Lisbon, with two days per week at the office in the Colombo area.
