Job summary

Quanteam, founding entity of RAINBOW PARTNERS, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer (.NET & Angular) for a retail technology project in Lisbon. The role is roughly 80% backend, with architectural input, mentoring colleagues, and hands-on development in .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Angular.

You will maintain and evolve legacy apps, design efficient database structures, develop backend services and microservices, and participate in Agile ceremonies using Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and Windows Forms.
• Experience with Angular and frontend tasks as needed.
• Proven experience with microservices and backend services.
• Hands-on SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience contributing to software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Proven mentoring or informal technical leadership experience.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Portuguese fluency and English at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance core POS applications with C#, .NET Framework, and Windows Forms.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and evolution of existing apps.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and development best practices.
• Design and optimize SQL Server queries and database structures.
• Develop and maintain backend services and microservices.
• Contribute to frontend development with Angular when required.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues in business-critical retail apps.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps.
• Mentor developers and participate in technical leadership.
• Support legacy applications and lead modernization efforts.
