EDP Renewables S.A. in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Finance Process Excellence Consultant to drive financial process improvements across the Service Tower.

You will identify efficiency and standardization opportunities, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact. The role requires strong Lean/Six Sigma background, experience in finance operations, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a global matrix.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid experience in process improvement, business transformation, shared services, or continuous improvement.
• Mandatory experience in finance, focusing on efficiency, reporting, planning, controls, or standardization.
• Proven track record leading complex process optimization and transformation projects with measurable impact.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; Green Belt or higher is a plus.
• Skilled in using data analytics and process mapping tools to drive improvement.

• Understand operations and their processes within the Service Tower and their financial impact.
• Identify and implement process improvements focusing on efficiency, standardization, and digitization.
• Lead and facilitate meetings with delivery operations to gather feedback on improvements.
• Analyze customer satisfaction feedback to identify improvement areas.
• Ensure alignment between operations and communicate improvement needs to the CoE; prioritize them.
• Monitor performance indicators to improve efficiency, optimise resources and sustain improvement.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure an understanding of all operations and their processes within the Service Tower, as well as their financial and strategic impact.
• Identify process improvements with a focus on efficiency, standardisation, user experience and digitization.
• Facilitate meetings with Service Tower delivery operations to obtain feedback on potential improvements.
• Analyse customer satisfaction feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure alignment between the various operations involved in each process.
• Communicate and align all improvement needs with the Process Excellence CoE and prioritise them.
• Monitor performance indicators with a focus on improving efficiency and optimising resources and sustaining continuous improvement.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid professional experience, in process improvement, business transformation, shared services, Acceleration Office, Process Excellence, or Continuous Improvement, preferably in a GBS or multinational environment.
• Mandatory experience in the financial area, particularly in environments involving operational efficiency, reporting, planning, controls, or process standardization.
• Proven track record in leading complex process optimization and transformation projects with measurable impact on efficiency, cost, quality, or service performance.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; Green Belt or higher certification is a plus.
• Skilled in using data analytics and process mapping tools to drive improvement and support decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to align initiatives with strategic goals, bringing a strong strategic vision and the capacity to translate business priorities into actionable improvement plans.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate across diverse teams, seniority levels, functions, and geographies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
• Availability to travel when required.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
