EDP is seeking a Technical Specialist in Processes and AI Solutions to join our team in Lisbon. You will automate business processes using AI technologies, monitor and coordinate activities, and analyse operational processes to design AI-driven decision support for end users.

The role requires a technical degree and hands-on experience in AI solutions, process automation, and cross-functional collaboration, with an emphasis on delivering compliant, high-quality outcomes.

• Design decision and follow-up flows for contract management and related processes.
• Manage and liaise on payments and insurance/guarantee requests with various stakeholders.
• Engage with Legal and other departments on payments and regulatory tasks.
• Perform activities in JUMP including supplier creation and purchase requisition processes.

We are looking for a Process & AI SolutionsSpecialist to join our team.

Main responsibilities:

• Automate business processes through Artificial Intelligence technologies, programming and automation tools
• Monitor, manage and coordinate activities (PBI)
• Analyse operational processes and design AI solutions that support decision-making and task execution by users
• Define, create and follow up guidelines to respond to internal requests (Office Supplies / Decision Requests / Equipment Requests with related market consultations / Petty Cash) from the Assets and Project Design areas through the Onerequest platform
• Design decision and follow-up flows for operational processes related to contract management (Labelec) and other processes
• Manage and follow up operational processes related to payments requested by entities (GNR/PSP/Fire Department) and rental payments
• Manage and liaise with GBS regarding requests for the creation of insurance guarantees, including interaction with requesters, deadline control and follow-up for the release of guarantees
• Follow up, manage and liaise with Legal regarding the payment of Municipal Tax requests, including semi-annual monitoring
• Perform activities in JUMP, including supplier creation, purchase requisition creation, goods receipt, payment of official notices and payment of fees

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or, preferably, Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field. A degree in Mathematics, Data Science or equivalent can also be considered
• Knowledge and practical experience in implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions and process automation to optimise business processes
• Experience in process analysis, optimisation and redesign
• Ability to analyse operational processes and design AI solutions that support decision-making and task execution by end users
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate and supervise technical operations and manage cross-functional initiatives involving internal and external teams
• Experience implementing solutions that guide users through complex processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and high-quality outcomes
• Strong organisational and planning skills, ensuring effective documentation, communication and implementation of process changes across teams
• Strong analytical skills, with a results-oriented and problem-solving mindset
• Proactive, autonomous and critical-thinking profile, able to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive the adoption of new methodologies, tools and ways of working
• Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously, consistently ensuring deadlines and priorities are met
