SIXT is seeking a Senior Data/DevOps Engineer to advance our Data Science infrastructure in Lisbon. You’ll focus on DevOps processes, cloud tech, and automating the DS tech stack to improve ML deployment and data pipelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to productionize experiments, ensuring scalable and reliable models and data flows across platforms.

Qualificações

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of ML operations and data engineering concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable DS infra with a focus on DevOps and cloud tech.
• Extend tools to automate the Data Science tech stack and MLOps pipelines.
• Ensure reliable deployment foundations for ML models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to achieve business goals.
• Build and manage IaC using Terraform to control cloud resources.
• Prepare data science experiments for production, ensuring monitoring and robustness.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You Develop further and maintain a solid infrastructure within the Data Science team, with a focus on DevOps processes and cloud technologies
• You Establish and extend tools to automate our Data Science Tech Stack to continuously enhance MLOps processes, including model deployment and data pipelines
• You Ensure a reliable and scalable deployment foundation for our Data Science ML models and algorithms and work closely with other departments like cloud infrastructure
• You Collaborate effectively with stakeholders from other departments to achieve our business goals
• You Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to manage cloud resources
• You Make data science experiments production-ready, monitored, robust, and scalable

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Technical Background You have strong knowledge of cloud technologies, ideally in AWS
• Experience You have solid coding skills in Python and hands-on experience with CI/CD approaches
• Tools & Platforms You have experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Docker, and ideally container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes
• Domain Knowledge You ideally bring knowledge of ML operations and data engineering, including data modeling, database systems, and ETL processes
• Practices You ideally have experience with monitoring and logging tools to detect and diagnose issues in machine learning models and their supporting infrastructure
• Soft Skills You excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and an appreciation for cultural diversity
