SIXT is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Lisbon to shape fleet strategies via optimization and machine learning. You will design advanced planning systems that influence purchasing, pricing, and financial projections, ensuring the right cars at the right locations.

You will translate complex problems into actionable models, explain the rationale to stakeholders, and mentor teammates. A hybrid work model and international environment await.

Qualificações

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Strong background in mathematical optimization and programming.
• Hands-on experience in dynamic pricing or stock planning optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and production deployment.
• Understanding of ML techniques and model evaluation.
• Ability to explain results and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced fleet planning systems for purchasing, pricing, and financial projections.
• Formulate and solve complex optimization problems to maximize margin and support decisions.
• Explain the rationale behind results to stakeholders.
• Build models capturing pricing and allocation dynamics for rental cars.
• Stay current on revenue management, OR, and ML research; bring new ideas.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
