A progressive technology firm is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and strong skills in Python, MLOps workflows, and big-data platforms such as Spark and Databricks. This role offers hybrid working conditions and a supportive team environment. Applicants must be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
• Strong skills in Python and MLOps workflows.
• Hands-on experience with big-data platforms.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).

What we’re looking for:

• +5 years of experience with as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Strong skills in Python, MLOps workflows, ML experimentation and tracking tools (MLflow, W&B, Databricks ML)
• Hands-on leveraging big-data platforms (Spark, Databricks) to optimize model training and scoring.
• Fluency in English (at least a B2 level)

Important:

This position is hybrid 2 times a week in Lisbon, based in Portugal. Candidates should be based in Portugal to be considered (requires Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit).
