We Are META is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our consultant network, delivering web solutions with Python, React, and AI integration. This role emphasizes architecture, performance, and secure design across hybrid work arrangements in Porto or Lisbon.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of experience, a strong background in software engineering, and fluency in English (B2/C1). Availability for onboarding travel and remote/hybrid policies will be coordinated with recruiters.

Qualificações

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent IT background.
• 6 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience with ability to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Strong experience in software architecture and solution design for web apps with security and performance in mind.
• Proficiency in Python (Backend) and React (Frontend) and debugging AI-generated code.
• Strong SQL knowledge to design schemas and optimize complex queries.
• Good knowledge of Linux commands and environment for troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automated deployment workflows (XLRelease/XLDeploy a plus).
• Good understanding of Git workflows.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent IT background.
• 6 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, with excellent analytical skills to read, comprehend, and translate complex functional requirements into structured technical designs.
• Strong experience in software architecture and solution design, knowing how to structure web applications and model data while considering security and performance at all times.
• Technical comprehension of Python (Backend) and React (Frontend), with the ability to spot logic errors, memory/performance issues, or anti-patterns in AI-generated code.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to design schemas and optimize complex aggregating queries.
• Good knowledge of Linux commands and environment, for navigating directories, checking system logs, and tracking processes to troubleshoot issues.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices, automated deployment workflows, and pipelines (experience with XLRelease and XLDeploy is a plus, but not mandatory).
• Good fundamental knowledge of Git workflows .
  
• Proven experience using AI tools and developer-focused LLMs to design, draft, and document software systems.
• Fluency in English (B2/C1 Level), French is a strong plus (not mandatory).
• Availability for hybrid work, 2x a week, based in Porto or Lisbon. Candidates based in Lisbon must be available to travel to Porto: during onboarding (approximately 1 to 1.5 months), 2 to 3 days per week on-site; after onboarding, a minimum of 1 trip per month (2 days per trip).
• Candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.
