Softlanding invites experienced backend engineers to join a new Tech Hub in Porto. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices, building REST APIs and event-driven integrations with Kafka.

The role emphasizes ownership across the SDLC, collaboration with architects, and continual improvement of cloud-native applications. You will contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring while operating in an English-speaking environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proven Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience designing microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with event-driven architectures, preferably Kafka.
• Cloud-native tech, CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, artifacts, and testing.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Own backend features through design to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects on technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and engineering best practices.
• Support cloud-native applications focusing on stability and observability.
• Mentor teammates and share knowledge within the team.
