Job summary

Softlanding, a leading European mobility services provider, is launching a Tech Hub in Porto. We are seeking a frontend engineer to develop scalable Angular/TypeScript applications across the full SDLC, collaborating with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver user-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and RxJS.
• Experience building scalable enterprise applications with responsive user interfaces.
• Knowledge of micro frontends, Web Components, REST API integrations, and NgRx.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams.
• Strong English (international working environment).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Take ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement responsive, accessible, and user-centric interfaces, integrating backend services through REST APIs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Architects to deliver business-driven solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical decisions, and the adoption of engineering best practices.
• Ensure application quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
