Job summary

AdvanceWorks is seeking a Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to strengthen reliability and automation across a cloud-native platform for travel and transport domains. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and Azure-based infrastructure, collaborating with backend and mobile teams to scale services.

The role emphasizes security integration, observability, and AI-driven approaches to platform operations, with a flexible hybrid work model in Lisbon area.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally including AKS.
• Good experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with GitOps, ideally ArgoCD, FluxCD, and/or Helm.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab.
• Implement GitOps with ArgoCD, FluxCD, and Helm.
• Automate build, testing, integration, and deployment across environments.
• Manage Azure cloud infra including AKS, storage, networking.
• Create and maintain IaC with Terraform.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments for scalability and reliability.
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
• Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle, including Vault for secrets.
• Manage artifact repos like Artifactory/NuGet; support performance testing.
• Support production incidents and drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
