Job summary

iTRTech Group seeks a Senior Platform Engineer / DevOps Specialist to manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and platform reliability, with strong focus on Azure. You will collaborate with backend and mobile teams in a multicultural environment, emphasizing automation, and AI-driven improvements. Hybrid work with 50% onsite in Lisbon.

The role demands 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, Azure expertise, and strong GitOps proficiency. English at B2 level or higher is required for cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud, or SRE roles.
• Strong cloud experience, preferably Microsoft Azure, including AKS, storage, and networking.
• Proven expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident management.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, and backend architectures.
• Experience with integration, load, and stress testing strategies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• English B2 or higher, with the ability to collaborate in multicultural teams.
• Availability to work onsite in Lisbon for 50% of the working week.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure infrastructure, including AKS, storage, and networking.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, and automation tools.
• Implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD or FluxCD and Helm-based deployments.
• Automate build, integration, and deployment processes across environments.
• Define and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to improve observability.
• Integrate secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault.
• Manage and optimize artifact repositories such as Artifactory or NuGet.
• Contribute to integration, performance, load, and stress testing.
• Support incident resolution and production stability.
• Explore practical applications of AI in CI/CD, infrastructure management, and platform automation.
