Coloplast is seeking an Automation Engineer to drive efficiency in the Operations Development Department. You will lead automation initiatives, integrate PLC controlled production machines with vision and robot systems, and coordinate software design, testing, and deployment.

The role involves collaborating with specialists to reduce scrap, optimize performance, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, ensuring continuous production. Travel is expected in the first year.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrotechnics or Automation with at least 5 years in a related role.
• Good written and spoken English (CEFR B1).
• Knowledge of PLC programming on major platforms.
• Proficient in servo motion programming and robot systems.
• Experience with vision systems and HMI.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and E-plan.
• Experience maintaining automated industrial machines.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out daily technical development tasks in Operations Development.
• Develop new technologies and document related knowledge.
• Suggest improvements to increase machinery availability and automation levels.
• Participate in projects to reduce scrap and increase productivity.
• Support PLC controlled machines with vision and robot systems.
• Plan and execute software design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate projects and liaise with external partners.
• Prepare reports and ensure documentation of tasks and changes.
