Job summary

Körber Supply Chain is seeking a PLC & Commissioning Engineer to deliver automation solutions for leading logistics operators. You will develop PLC software, commission systems, and support installations with international travel commitments.

The role requires 2+ years in PLC programming, Siemens platform experience, and strong English communication. A degree in automation or related field is essential, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming and commissioning.
Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience with Siemens platforms (S7 Classic, TIA Portal, S7 Safety, WinCC Flexible).
Knowledge of drive technology, industrial communication networks, and fieldbus systems.
Willingness to travel internationally - approximately 5-6 months per year, with assignments up to 3 weeks.
Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, or material handling is a plus.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PLC software, including fieldbus systems and integration with higher-level control systems.
Commission, test, troubleshoot, and optimize automation and control systems.
Support system installation, startup, and customer acceptance activities.
Deliver customer training and technical support during project execution.
