Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Senior Accountant OtC (Accounts Receivable) in Braga, Portugal. The role focuses on customer invoicing, intercompany accounting, bank reconciliation, and month-end close, within a hybrid work model after an initial training period.

You will manage invoicing, postings, cash allocation and ensure accuracy in AR processes. The ideal candidate has strong finance experience in AR within BPO/SSC, excellent Excel and MS Office skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in finance within AR in BPO/SSC.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Diligent, reliable, detail-oriented, well organized.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer invoicing and intercompany accounting.
• Post invoices and ICO recharge invoices; issue dunning letters.
• Book invoices, reconcile sales, resolve missing invoices.
• Bank statement posting and cash allocation daily.
• Perform month-end closing tasks and reconciliations.
• Support knowledge transfer and process improvements.
• Create new customers and modify existing ones; mentor juniors.
