Jobbex IT in Lisbon seeks a Senior Application Support Engineer to join one of our client teams. You will support and integrate transactional and batch applications, handling incidents and changes while maintaining production stability.

You will collaborate with development, infrastructure and security teams, automate procedures, and improve support processes. Strong Linux and Windows skills, plus experience with Control-M and app servers, are essential.

Qualificações

• Strong Linux administration experience and working knowledge of Windows.
• Experience with Control-M (or another enterprise scheduler), Apache HTTP Server, JBoss and Tomcat.
• Basic understanding of application architecture, networking, databases, security, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset.
• Nice to have: experience supporting cash processing or other business-critical applications.
• Nice to have: improving production support processes and operational controls.

Responsabilidades

• Support and integrate transactional and batch applications following established operational standards.
• Manage incidents, problems, changes, performance and service availability.
• Automate and standardise operational procedures, maintain technical documentation and improve support processes.
